VSBA, Oberon High School, Armstrong Creek VIC
Go One Better, Shape Your Future
Joining forces with Architectus and K2LD joint venture, Louvreclad worked with Kane Constructions to deliver Oberon High School, in Armstrong Creek, one of Victoria’s fastest growing suburbs.
Louvreclad jumped on board to assist with the early design phases and were thrilled to continue the effort through to completion.
Louvreclad designed, engineered supplied and installed, Axis Series® operable louvres to provide ventilation and rain defence to the new performing arts and physical education building. Louvreclad Sheraton Series® 360 Chamfer was selected to provide horizontal sun shading over the entrance ways around the school powder coated in green, yellow, and blue to act as a way finding system for the students. Sheraton Series® 240 was also installed to provide vertical sun screening to the eastern façade of the new specialist learning building. Caprice Series®634 Modular sun blades were installed as sun hoods, to deliver vertical and horizontal shading around the windows throughout the school.
Another stunning education project as part of the VSBAs Growth Areas Schools Project and one of twelve schools completed in 2020 with several more works in progress throughout Victoria.
All in all, a great testament to Louvreclad’s expertise and experience in the areas of louvres and sun shading for education architecture.
