A bright & colourful display of vertical fins from the Caprice Series
Louvreclad were proud to work with Tomkins Commercial to design, manufacture and install our Caprice Series® modular aluminium louvres on this government building. The architects selected Dulux Duratec® powder coat finish Eternity Citi Silver Pearl, Intensity Leaf and Intensity Evergreen to create the colourful vertical columns, adding not only eye-catching aesthetic appeal but also an element of fun and vibrancy.
Specified by Cottee Parker Architects and designed to stand out,
the 45 mm thick aluminium horizontal and vertical sun hoods needed to be exactly the right width and spaced strategically to provide maximum sun screening to windows and add to the buildings energy performance. Careful consideration was given to maximise natural daylight and block direct solar radiation to minimise glare and reduce overall cooling load.
Other products specified included our
Delta Series® A fixed single stage Colorbond louvre system which is perfectly suited to provide good ventilation and screening to mechanical plant room decks and generator enclosures. Louvreclad’s high-strength roll formed perforated steel louvres were then finished in Colorbond® Night Sky from the standard colour range.
A fantastic project Louvreclad were proud to be a part of!
