Louvreclad Varsity Series® offers steel louvres with Class D 75% rain defence, Class 2 aerodynamics, and 53% open area. Ideal for mechanical ventilation and screening, ensuring maximum airflow and low-pressure drops.
Performance
Specifically engineered for mechanical ventilation and screening where airflow is critical. Single-stage achieves 53% open area, while the two-stage offers excellent air flow with integrated rain defence.
Aesthetics
Features roll-formed colour-coated steel with a 125mm pitch. Available in any Colorbond or Unicote finish, suitable for horizontal linear aesthetics in various applications.
Design
Fabricated with 0.55mm base metal thickness, offering high strength and durability. Available as prefabricated modular panels or continuous louvres.
Sustainability
Combines with Venus Series® chevron louvre profile for enhanced rain defence without compromising airflow, making it a standout choice for applications requiring both high performance and weatherproofing.

Projects will be delivered in a timely manner, be on specification, engineered to Australian standards and finished to the highest quality.
Should you require samples, we offer up to 3 product samples free of charge. Special colour requests POA.
Selecting the right louvreinvolves these steps.
To select the right performance louvre for your project design: 1) The mechanical engineer defines the required volume flow rate (m ³/s) for mechanical plant or passive ventilation dictated by the mechanical equipment behind the louvres. 2) Mechanical engineer defines the maximum allowable pressure drop across a louvre before fan performance suffers. 3) The architect and engineer then balance the louvre façade area (m2) against the pressure drop requirements, required rain resistance, and aesthetics to get a mutually workable outcome. 4) Finally you can then specify the louvre that works for your design aesthetically and achieves the performance classification required for both aerodynamics and rain defence using the Australian Standard AS4740:2000 classification system. Please note: louvre performance is proportional to the design airflow. For example, the higher the air velocity, the lower the rain defence.
