The coastal location of this project and the potential effects of chlorine were highly considered in the design and development of this solution. Working along side Cox Rayner Architects, Louvreclad provided the solution with extruded aluminium louvres and screens. This included the type of fixings to be used and the potential dissimilation of metals. The Ellenborough Series® provided the Aquatic Centre with a ‘zero vision’ louvre which was perfect for screening the pumps whilst the Neptune and Nexus Series® are a high strength aluminium louvre and were used for doors and ventilation.
