Rosella Complex
Dramatic Architectural Statement with Horizontal Screens
Working closely with the architects, Louvreclad presented various screening options and tested each one to see how the sunlight movement and phases during the day effected the building. Finally the ideal solution was found and Louvreclad’s Barossa Series horizontal battens were specified to fulfill the sun shading design requirements.
Louvreclad designed, manufactured and installed Barossa Series 150x45mm aluminium battens with mitred corners to provide a continuous horizontal linear aesthetic that wraps around the building. The almost black Sable Bass finish from the Interpon range contrasts and compliments the red bricks and works to create a dramatic architectural statement emphasising the departure from the warehouse language of this industrial streetscape.
The Rosella Complex is a beautifully detailed contemporary design and excellent example of what can be achieved with our simple yet bespoke Barossa Series aluminium shading system.
