Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) New Schools 2021, Bundle 3
2021 saw the completion of VSBA 2021 Bundles 1, 2 & 3 Schools.
Louvreclad collaborated closely with Kane Constructions in conjunction with Design Inc and Brand Architects to deliver turn-key (design engineer supply and install) louvre packages for the louvres and screens across all of these schools.
These visionary schools have utilised louvre packages including the Mirage Series, and Caprice Series sunscreens where horizontal and vertical sun shading was required. Kensington Series Class A 100% effective rain defence louvres where max rain defence and mechanical ventilation was required and Axis Series operable louvres to provide controlled natural ventilation in the Performing Arts and Physical Education (PAPE) Buildings.

- Pakenham Henry Road Secondary School (interim name)
- Thoroughbred Primary School (interim name)
- Timbertop Primary School (interim name)
When working on multiple schools at once, good collaboration between the builder, architect and Specialist louvre contractor is crucial to a successful and smoothly run project.
Engaging Louvreclad at early design phase allows the team to consider pre-fabrication and modular designs for ease of install and speed of construction.
With all the connection details clarified, and first pass engineering assessments complete our team can then focus on delivering these packages on time and within budget.
Louvreclad were thrilled to work alongside Kane Constructions, Design Inc and Brand architects on these School Projects. This collection of 8 schools are a testament to Louvreclad’s expertise and experience in the areas of louvres and sun shading for education architecture.
Louvreclad have now completed 27 schools across Victoria. Eighteen of these have been with Kane Constructions, eight with ADCO Constructions and five more works in progress with Ireland Brown and Lloyd Group due to be completed this year.
