Designed by Bureau Proberts, Louvreclad’s Barossa and Caprice Series® were specified in various sizes providing a visual feature throughout the many facets of this multi-residential twin tower development.
Louvreclad designed, engineered, supplied and installed Barossa Series® 150×45 and 45×45 powder coated aluminium vertical batten screens that span 6m over two levels and provide natural ventilation to the podium car parks. To maintain the continuous aesthetics, Louvreclad have incorporated a pin-plate expansion joint at mid-height which cannot be seen to the unknowing eye and on careful inspection is visible only as a faint hair line join.
These vertical linear screens provide character throughout the two towers with various sized extrusions giving architectural texture across the facades.
A platinum Project with aluminium vertical sun blades
Caprice Series® 638mm modular sun blades were also specified, designed, and installed as over-sized window surrounds providing the key vertical and horizontal linear feature that denotes the symmetry of the façade design.
To ensure swift installation, careful consideration was given during the shop drawing phase to ensure the Barossa Series® panels were pre-fabricated and sized to be efficiently craned into place.
