The Super Amart at Rochedale used custom designed feature fins as a simple yet effective means to provide sun screening and character to the exterior of their new commercial building.
Louvreclad designed, manufactured and installed Caprice Series® 484x45mm horizontal aluminium fins and Sheraton Series® 446x75x4400mm vertical aluminium fins.
Colour played a major role in this architectural feature sun screening. Louvreclad’s Caprice Series horizontal fins were powder coated in Dulux Duratec Windspray making the fins almost invisible against the cladding behind while Interpon Tahitian Lime Matt Green was selected for the Sheraton Series vertical fins to enhance this vertical feature and contrast the charcoal grey cladding behind.
A great example of how Louvreclad’s sun screens in conjunction with good use of colour can impact a buildings architecture and enhance the building aesthetics. In this case the vibrant green vertical fins have created a stunning entry into Super Amarts new commercial premise.
